Provided you use a good quality juicer, juicing extracts the liquid from fresh vegetables and fruit while retaining all or most of the vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients (plant chemicals). Easily digestible, it is a wonderful convalescence drink for anyone, especially with the added Moringa benefits. Diabetics, however, should take with caution and dilute the juice significantly with water. Also, dilute with filtered/purified water for the elderly and children.

4 small red apples, cored.
2 celery sticks, all leaves removed. (Keep the leaves for soup, stew or salad!)
2 medium carrots peeled and sliced in rings.
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 serving Moringa Powder
Handful of mint leaves (Optional. Herbs will colour the drink, but add a lovely flavour.)
Except the ice cubes, place all ingredients in a juicer and juice.
Place ice cubes in glasses, and pour the juice. Serve immediately.
You can play around with this juice recipe by replacing the mint with a handful of fresh parsley, a sliver of fresh ginger or a handful of origanum leaves. Be creative and enjoy!
